This frame compensator is compatible with the current production (Gen 3) MAC DS 4.25 and MAC DS Comp 4.25. Gen 3 MAC pistols have windows cut in the slide serrations and they have a full length frame, if your pistol does not have these features you have a Gen 1/2.
The Underworld Arms Cyclops Compensator for the Military Armament Corp MAC 9 DS 1911, is a frame mounted compensator with a large expansion chamber that redirects the gas into a single top port that is similar in size to the Staccato XC and Sand Hawk.

Adding a compensator to a pistol reduces muzzle flip and recoil energy, as a result recoil spring tuning may be required and we offer a spring set for this purpose.
