MAC 9 DS 4.25 Gen 1/2 Cerberus Compensator Standard Mk2

IMPORTANT!!!, before adding to cart you must check your gun and select the correct frame generation from the drop down list. Gen 1 frame guns came with short iron sights, later production Gen 2 frame guns came with much taller suppressor height sights. These two generations have different frame rail dimensions so we made two different lowers that are engraved with M1 and M2. The Underworld Arms Cerberus Compensator for the Military Armament Corp MAC 9 DS 1911, is a compact triple port frame mounted compensator with superb efficiency and performance.  The Cerberus uses concave gas diverters at the front wall of the expansion chamber to route gas into the two upward angled side ports and the top port. By using this concave diverter the gas retains more of its energy as it is redirected and more gas is trapped and redirected into the ports. The side ports are angled up at 68 degrees which creates a 44 degree arc of gas venting. 

This 50 state legal compensator is made for unthreaded barrels and is anodized black. This compensator has a multi slot lower rail, for a single slot lower rail please see our other listing. 

On most builds this compensator will require recoil spring tuning and we offer a spring tuning kit if your build requires it.

This compensator increases the dimensions of the firearm so it requires a dedicated holster such as the ones we make, or a universal holster such as the MSP Tier 1, and the blackhawk omnivore light bearing.
