The Underworld Arms Cyclops Compensator for the Springfield Prodigy 4.25" is a frame mounted compensator with a large expansion chamber that redirects the gas into a single top port that is similar in size to the Staccato XC and Sand Hawk.
This 50 state legal compensator is made for unthreaded barrels. The Cyclops is available anodized black or cerakote coyote brown. This compensator has a multi slot lower rail, for a single slot lower rail please see our other listing.
On most builds this compensator will not require recoil spring tuning.
Compatible holsters are available HERE
This compensator increases the dimensions of the firearm so it requires a dedicated holster such as the ones we make, or Tac-Rig (these have the most features and highest quality construction), or a universal holster such as the MSP Tier 1, and the blackhawk omnivore light bearing.

Several months ago, I purchased the Cyclops compensator for my 4.25" Springfield Prodigy, which I carry on duty. The compensator alone made an immediate and noticeable difference, significantly improving my ability to get back on target quickly. After the upgrade, I passed the TCOLE shooting qualification with a score of 248 out of 250, nearly perfect. (The only round outside the A-zone was with my non-dominant hand.)
Later, I decided to test the spring kit and ultimately settled on the 10lb recoil spring. That change virtually eliminated felt recoil, allowing me to maintain full focus on both the target and the red dot throughout each string of fire.
Slide manipulation has also become noticeably easier, and the ejection pattern and reliability remain flawless. I tested the setup with a variety of ammunition including standard ball range ammo, Federal HST, SIG V-Crown, and Underwood Xtreme Defender. All cycled without a single malfunction.
Combining the Cyclops compensator with the 10lb spring kit has been, without a doubt, the best performance upgrade I've made to my Prodigy.
Makes it shoot like a bb gun. People say comped version with the UA comp doesn’t work because that’s not how comps work…. i have it, i tested it, it works. comp is of good quality. cons is that it make the front of the gun absolutely dirty after about 700rds or so.
Holster compatibility was a pain but i CCW this gun. I’m 5’5” 145lbs i use it with the enigma system from Phlster paired with their Floodlight 2 IWB holster. i can bend, run, wear no belt, etc with this gun. It minimal/none print either with a moderately slim shirt.
Also have a TLR-1HL on the rail. it’s secure, just recommend Unit tactical extended switch because it moves the light a tad bit lower than the OEM rail
It fits flush and looks amazing
Recoil fell way better now,and look fire too
