Prodigy 4.25" Cyclops Compensator (Multi Slot Rail)

  • Sale
  • Regular price $129.99

The Underworld Arms Cyclops Compensator for the Springfield Prodigy 4.25" is a frame mounted compensator with a large expansion chamber that redirects the gas into a single top port that is similar in size to the Staccato XC and Sand Hawk.

This compensator has a multi slot lower rail, for a single slot lower rail please see our other listing.

On most builds this compensator will not require recoil spring tuning.

Compatible holsters are available HERE

This compensator increases the dimensions of the firearm so it requires a dedicated holster such as the ones we make, or Tac-Rig (these have the most features and highest quality construction), or a universal holster such as the MSP Tier 1, and the blackhawk omnivore light bearing.

Installation Video: Click Here

We include a small bottle of blue 242 loctite in the package. If you use too much and a screw is stuck heat the screw with a jet lighter, this will break down the loktite and the screw will come right out. The same method also works if you decided to use red loktite.  A heat gun or soldering iron will not work for a stuck screw as the temp is too low.

Better than expected

Like many of you reading this, you may be skeptical with how this thing performs, but are convinced that it does look cool (because it does look cool). Well I'm happy to report that the compensator performed well beyond my expectations. At my first trip to the range with it, I immediately felt less recoil within the first mag, slow firing the first 10 shots and mag dumping the second set of 10. I then handed my 4.25" mostly stock prodigy (which has 2500+rds through it) to two different people that have stacatto Ps + my friend who has a DSC comp prodigy, and all 3 of them confirmed that the compensator is indeed not only functional, but performed well beyond any of our expectations. Do yourself a favor, buy one, try it for yourself. My only warning is that you WILL need to purchase new holster(s) for it. My safarriland, qvo wingman, and legacy holster co holsters don't fit the Prodigy with the UW comp + TLR1 HL anymore. So i purchased a Phlster Floodlight2 and Blackhawk! Omnivore, both universal TLR1 mount holstere and they are fantastic.

Awesome Compensator

This Comp, makes the Prodigy very flat shooting.

Not bad

Fit and finish are nice. Not a game changer from a recoil perspective if your gun is already sprung properly. It works for what I wanted, which was a filler until I get it ported and re cerakoted. Which is a good thing because this comp totally screws the finish on the front of your slide.
