The Underworld Arms Cyclops Compensator for the Springfield Prodigy 5" is a frame mounted compensator with a large expansion chamber that redirects the gas into a single top port that is similar in size to the Staccato XC and Sand Hawk.
This 50 state legal compensator is made for unthreaded barrels. This compensator has a single slot lower rail, for a multi slot lower rail please see our other listing.
On most builds this compensator will not require recoil spring tuning.

This compensator increases the dimensions of the firearm so it requires a dedicated holster such as the ones we make, or Tac-Rig (these have the most features and highest quality construction), or a universal holster such as the MSP Tier 1, and the blackhawk omnivore light bearing.

This definitely took my prodigy to the next level giving in the Staccato XC look and appeal that I've always wanted without the price tag.
First let me talk about the fit and finish. It is excellent. Fits the gun perfectly with no slop or movement and looks great. Shoot ability, also excellent. I tried it with several loads, light to heavy and no issues cycling. I think the combination of the added weight upfront and the compensator work together to keep the gun flat. I was shooting 12x18 and 6” steel plates at 15 to 25 yard and the accuracy was right on. No change at all with or without the comp. I did a few mag dumps at 15yards on the 12x18 plate and it definitely felt faster and more controllable than without the comp. . I will have a better feel for any additional speed and flatness in a week when I shoot my next falling steel match.
this really makes a difference makes the prodigy the flattest shooting pistol i have, but be sure not to use to much blue lock tight on the screws
Awesome addition to my prodigy, you can feel the difference. Fit and finish is top notch. I plan on purchasing one for my staccato P.
