This recoil spring kit includes five springs in 1lbs increments from 7lbs-11lbs for tuning your guns performance to the specific ammunition and parts you are using. They are manufactured from 17-7 stainless steel and are designed to fit 1911 and 2011 4.25"-4.4"
These springs are manufactured by the factory that makes springs for Noveske, Atlas, Sig, CMMG, POF-USA. We lucked out and our shop just happened to be ten minutes from their factory.
The springs are spray painted in a color code to identify their weight, we put green and red at the opposite end of the weights so color blind individuals can tell them apart by testing tension in their hand.
7lbs - Green
8lbs - Blue
9lbs - White
10lbs - Yellow
11lbs - Red
This is the perfect tuning kit for a 1911 DS 4.25. Has all the right springs to try out. Well colored to keep the confusion down on which weight spring you are using. Could not be happier with this purchase along with the comp.

Got this set for my 4.25” prodigy, and they all run great! I opted for the 10lb spring to match with the 17lb main spring. I only wish the packaging had the weights and colors listed but that can be easily found on the website
