The Underworld Arms Basilisk Compensator for the Staccato C2 is a frame mounted compensator with two large expansion chambers that redirect the gas flow into two large top ports and four angled side ports which dramatically reduces muzzle flip and felt recoil.

This 50 state legal compensator is designed for unthreaded barrels, however we will be releasing traditional thread on comps for threaded P owners soon.

This compensator has a single slot lower rail, for a multi slot lower rail please see our other listing.

This compensator will not require recoil spring tuning. It is available in matte black anodized or cerakoted to color match DLC grey.

Compatible holsters are available HERE

This compensator increases the dimensions of the firearm so it requires a dedicated holster such as the ones we make, or a universal holster such as the MSP Tier 1, and the blackhawk omnivore light bearing.

Great Build, High Impact. Highly Recommend

I now have 200+ rounds through my C2 Basilisk and can’t compliment Phil and team’s work highly enough. I’ve wanted to play with turning my C2 from EDC to a viable Open class pistol league range gun. The Basilisk has a marked reduction in felt recoil, and a nontrivial level of added weight, at nearly 3 ounces extra. Especially with target grain 9mm ammo, you are going to shoot markedly flatter. It won’t be like an XC., but it’s in the hunt, which is a remarkable transformation for a duty/carry design short barrel Staccato. The fit is firm. Definitely check your screws after every session… no looseness, but as a safety issue, it’s non-optional for an add-on deployed in line of aim over a barrel. Zero complaints here and now a big fan from an experienced 2011 shooter.
