The Underworld Arms Cerberus Compensator for the Tisas B9R Carry 4.25" DS 1911, is a compact triple port frame mounted compensator with superb efficiency and performance. This compensator is made for the first generation B9R with bushing style barrel.
The Cerberus uses concave gas diverters at the front wall of the expansion chamber to route gas into the two upward angled side ports and the top port. By using this concave diverter the gas retains more of its energy as it is redirected and more gas is trapped and redirected into the ports. The side ports are angled up at 68 degrees which creates a 44 degree arc of gas venting.
This 50 state legal compensator is made for unthreaded barrels and is anodized black. This compensator has an ambi thumb ledge lower with horizontal serrations that match the horizontal serrations on the slide release and thumb safety for a cohesive aesthetic. The holster we make for the MAC is compatible with this thumb ledge lower.
On most builds this compensator will require recoil spring tuning and we offer a spring tuning kit if your build requires it.
Compatible holsters are available HERE
This compensator increases the dimensions of the firearm so it requires a dedicated holster such as the ones we make, or a universal holster such as the MSP Tier 1, and the blackhawk omnivore light bearing.

I finally got out to run my setup after many months and I am super happy with the purchase. My initial order had an issue but it was made right and extra parts thrown in as an apology. My carry ran almost perfect with the 10lb spring. I have decided to go to 11lbs with the hope the slide will move a little slower and the single FTF will never happen again. Pistol shot way flatter which allowed me to hit double taps faster than ever before. Worth the price for the performance
Great addition to my 2011. Completes the build and is functional at the same time
Part fit perfect and runs good.
Works Great! I was skeptical at first with how well it would actually work with the frame mounted compensator and it not being on the barrel or slide. The thumb ledge makes comfort and control much better, what was an already well balanced gun is even more controllable andcomfortable.
Ordered it Tues arrived Thurs now Friday afternoon and after 500rds absolutely impressed!!! Was trying to do a jw pit viper at home build and was disappointed to find out they do not make the basilisk for the b9r (cheapest starting point hence the build) but decided WTH I'll give the cerberus a shot (I still want a basilisk for the b9r, limited run? Hint, hint wink, wink 😉) but with the 11lb spring running 8rds of 115gr Blazer and 124gr fiochi I fell in love. Spent all morning breaking in a new czone targe. Before putting on the comp I put on the 7lb spring and air racked it a few times to feel like grand thumb in Brandon Herrera's kitchen lol. Immediately after test shots (have my own private range) I ordered 1000rds of 115gr Blazer and just put up a new c zone plate, I'm gonna put it through its paces!! Gonna order a holster but not sure what light I wanna purchase to dedicate to it (only options are streamlight tlr1, or x300 by surefire i have the olight baldr pro r on it while testing ) but definitely worth the money, with a 10lb spring (kit comes 7-11lbs springs for 4.25) feels as good as the kimber 2k11 racking! A+ on turning a sub $500 2011 into a 9mm with the recoil of a paintball gun with a spring kit!!! Looking into back half now, like an ignition kit and Wilson combat trigger.
